Instructional Designer (Mid-Level)

We are seeking a creative Instructional Designer (Mid-Level) to support the NIC Curriculum Modernization, E-Learning Development, & Instructor-Led Training Revision Support initiative.
This position is contingent on contract award.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do
The Instructional Designer (Mid-Level) will analyze performance, knowledge, and skill gaps to design and develop comprehensive instructional materials and performance support solutions. You will apply adult learning theories and instructional design frameworks (such as ADDIE or SAM) to conduct task and audience analyses, create competency-based e-learning and instructor-led curricula, and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure content accuracy. You will utilize modern authoring tools to translate complex operational concepts into engaging digital and blended learning experiences.
What You Bring to the Table - Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Educational Technology, or a related field
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in instructional systems design and e-learning courseware development.
Software & Technical Proficiency:
Hands-on proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 Suite and ELB Gold Suite Studio (Lectora).
Familiarity with media integration, human-computer interaction, and accessibility principles.
Core Capabilities:
Applied knowledge of adult learning principles and ISD methodologies (ADDIE/SAM).
Experience designing e-learning modules, micro-learning courses, and instructor-led training packages.
Strong written and oral communication skills to interface effectively with SMEs and team members.
