Who You Are & What You’ll Do

As a Multimedia Graphic Artist (Videographer) supporting Air and Marine Operations (AMO), you will plan, shoot, and edit instructional and promotional video content that directly enhances AMO training, operational readiness, and safety programs. In this role, you will balance in-person studio and field production in the Oklahoma City area with flexible telework post-production workflows.

You will capture high-impact instructional media across demanding operational settings—including onboard vessels on the water, in and around aircraft, and at tactical outdoor training facilities. In addition to camera and audio operations, you will leverage graphic design and motion graphics capabilities to create supporting visuals such as procedural animations, technical diagrams, and on-screen text that elevate the instructional quality of each deliverable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, shooting, and editing instructional videos that accurately demonstrate operational procedures, safety protocols, and tactical techniques.

  • Producing promotional and documentary-style content that highlights the mission, personnel, and specialized training programs.

  • Working directly with client personnel, instructors, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop scripts, shot lists, treatments, and storyboards.

  • Setting up and operating cameras, lighting, and audio recording equipment both in studio and on location.

  • Filming in demanding environments, including in and around aircraft, onboard vessels on the water, and at outdoor training sites.

  • Capturing clean, broadcast-quality audio in high-noise settings (around aircraft engines, rotors, and in windy conditions).

  • Enhancing content throughout post-production through color grading, sound design, audio mixing, and Section 508-compliant captions.

  • Creating motion graphics, procedural animations, diagrams, lower thirds, and title graphics.

  • Managing, archiving, and organizing footage, project files, and digital assets according to contract requirements.

  • Maintaining, inventorying, and properly caring for all camera, lighting, and audio equipment.

What You Bring to the Table - Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field (preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of professional videography and digital post-production experience.

  • Location & Presence: Based in or able to reliably commute to Oklahoma City, OK for scheduled studio production, on-location shoots, and training exercises.

  • Required Software & Technology Skills:

    • Adobe Premiere Pro: Advanced proficiency in video editing, multi-track timelines, color correction, and export workflows.

    • Production Equipment: Strong technical understanding and hands-on operational mastery of DSLR/mirrorless camera bodies, cinema lenses, studio/field lighting setups, and professional field audio gear.

  • Desirable Software & Technology Skills:

    • Adobe Creative Cloud: Hands-on experience with After Effects (motion graphics and animations), Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

    • Multi-Camera Production: Demonstrated experience setting up and directing multi-camera production workflows.

  • Demonstrated Functional Experience:

    • Proven ability to operate safely and effectively in dynamic, high-noise operational environments (tactical flight lines, maritime vessels, outdoor sites).

    • Audio capture and engineering in adverse acoustic conditions.

    • Integrating graphic design and instructional visual aids to reinforce learning objectives.

  • Portfolio Requirement: A comprehensive portfolio or demo reel showcasing diverse professional video capture, narrative editing, and graphic design work.

  • Clearance / Suitability: U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background suitability clearance / public trust credential for base and facility access.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
