Team Carney, a government contractor specializing in partner support and performance acceleration, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional for the role of Capture Manager, with experience in the federal sector. This position requires a unique blend of expertise in capture planning and developing teaming relationships with partners. Ideal candidates will be familiar with the federal government procurement process and possess a proven track record of closing new business
THIS POSITION IS REMOTE.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement strategies to secure new business.
- Lead capture efforts including solution design and teaming.
- Perform market analysis and competitor assessments to find opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry experts.
- Manage capture team activities to align with organizational goals.
- Identify potential markets and develop entry strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging markets to drive growth.
- Develop partnerships and alliances that enhance business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, political science, law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, capture management, or related roles.
- Experience with government procurement processes (e.g., GSA, DCAA, DoD)
- Proficiency in proposal writing and proposal support
- Ability to travel on an as-needed basis
- U.S Citizenship is required. Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.
The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time status. Part-time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represent the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of Team Carney's total compensation package for employees. Posted Salary Range: USD $70,000 - $95,000 YR
