Human Resource Management Support
This position is onsite in Hampton Virginia.
This position requires an active Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative management support to approximately 200 Government civilian personnel. Advise employees, supervisors, and managers on a wide variety of civilian personnel matters by providing guidance, planning and assessing progress, resolving issues, and implementing recommended solutions. Civilian personnel issues may involve organizations that have a wide range of professional, scientific, administrative, and highly technical positions in rapidly changing fields.
Assist HQ AF manpower personnel, ACC/A1 manpower, and personnel analysts regarding civilian personnel matters.
Coordinate with HR activities and senior management officials on civilian personnel programs and issues.
Provide HR functional management support to HQ ACC/A3 personnel regarding planning for and executing closeout of performance management cycle.
Support the performance management process.
Submit and track Requests for Personnel Actions (RPAs).
Prepare and present applicable marketing materials, talking papers, memorandums, guides, pay pool training materials, and briefings to pay pool members, administrators, and all ACC/A3 civilian personnel.
Requirements:
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated technical expertise in government Human Resource Management
- Minimum 3 years experience utilizing government civilian personnel support systems DCPDS, ATAAPS, etc.
The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time status. Part-time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represent the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of Team Carney's total compensation package for employees.
